Experienced Museum and University Executive Forrest Rodgers

An experienced museum leader, Forrest Rodgers spent nearly five years as the executive director of Spokane, Washington’s Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture, a Smithsonian-affiliated, American Alliance of Museums-accredited organization promoting Plateau tribal culture and regional history. Forrest Rodgers managed all departments at the Spokane museum and helped the facility establish and implement a sustainable funding model that allowed for many new exhibits and school and public programs.

Forrest Rodgers has held similar leadership positions with the High Desert Museum in Bend, Oregon, and the award-winning Museum in Utah, which earned the Utah Historical Society’s Outstanding Achievement Award during his tenure. In addition to his work as a museum leader, he has held positions in academia, such as executive director of the Oregon State University (OSU) Cascades Foundation and executive assistant to the president and director of corporate development at OSU.

Forrest Rodgers served as the student body president during his time as an English and secondary education student at Pacific University in Oregon. He continued his education at the Willamette University Atkinson Graduate School of Management, earning a master of business administration in marketing and financial reporting.
